BEACHES
Kootenay Lake- Massive Kootenay
Lake is over 100 kilometers (62 miles) long and scattered with remote sandy
beaches. It is surrounded by resorts, campgrounds, parks, boat launches, and
delightful towns, such as Nelson. Ainsworth Hot Springs , and Kaslo as well as
the East Shore communities of Riondel, Crawford Bay, Gray Creek, and Boswell.

swimming is paradise in the crystal clear water usually not that warm until
August but tolerable on a hot summer day.
